Florence Watson's brothers and sister

Robert (Bob), Mary, Thomas Anderson taken October 1938 in Camden NJ.

My Cousin Anna (Watson) Lowe of Connecticut sent these photos of Florence Watson's (my grandmother) brothers and sister. She received these photos from Bill Anderson of Long Island NY who is a cousin on my grandmother's side. What a wonderful surprise to hear from her! Anna also has the Anderson Family history on ancestry.com.

Joe & Florence Watson

These are a pictures of my grandparents Joseph & Florence Watson. I have many fond memories of them and looked forward to seeing them as often as possible. Christmas parties were the highlight of our year. Almost twenty first-cousins, plus aunts and uncles would overtake their house and share food, tell lots of jokes and dance.

Before long the movie camera would come out and
my grandfather would take movies of us kids dancing! We laughed all night and
didn't want to leave!

Harry & Mary Watson

This newspaper clipping is from 1958 for their 50th wedding anniversary.
Harry & Mary married in 1908 and had ten children, six boys and four girls. I didn't know my great grandfather Harry Watson but I did meet my great grandmother Mary a few times when I was a small girl. She worked at an amusement park and we enjoyed ice cream together.

Cousins

This photo from left to right is (me) Barbara, Lorraine Watson (cousin), Joan Kennedy (my mom), Diane Watson (cousin), Jimmy Watson (my uncle) and Brad Jr (brother) in the very right hand corner of photo. This was at our house in South Jersey.

Brad Jr. and Barbara

This is a photo of my brother Brad and me at an anniversary party for my grandparents Joseph & Florence Watson. I remember going to a lot of family parties and celebrations as a kid. I had thirteen first cousins, so you can imagine what fun we had!
